Care Staff: 

Person specification

Previous experience is not necessary and all new staff receive extensive Induction Training.

No formal qualifications are required, but applicants must have an interest in caring for people,

be willing to learn new skills and be able to work as part of a team.

We are able to employ on either a full or part time basis, as below.

Full Time Staff work a 5 day, 37.5 hours week with shifts and days off allocated on a rotating shift basis.

Applicants must be flexible and able to work early and late shifts (alternate week basis) as well as night duty.

The early shift starts at 07.30 and ends either at 13.45 (half-day) or 19.30 (long day)

The late shift is from 10.15 to 21.00 (long day) or from 13.30 to 21.00 (half-day)

The night shift is from 20.45 to 07.30 and a week of 3 or 4 night shifts is worked every two months

Days off are allocated on a rotating basis for example, Monday & Tuesday, followed by Tuesday & Wednesday

followed by Wednesday & Thursday and so on.

Part Time Staff

Those who are restricted as to the days and times that they can work should apply for a part time post.

Days and shifts are agreed on an individual basis with 30 hours per week being the part time maximum.

The following part time shifts are available:

Morning shift from 07.30 to 13.45

Afternoon shift from 13.00 to 21.00

Evening shift from 16.30 to 21.00

Night shift from 20.45 to 07.30

The starting rate of pay is £403.13 per week for full time (37.5 hours working week) and £10.75 per hour for part time paid monthly in arrears.
